Is Kamala Harris The Best Candidate For Black People?

Yall take a lot of statements as “cover for Trump” when niggas are really just asking you to check your blind spots

This is cover.

January 6th is overblown when we talk about what it actually means and where the blame lies. Trump telling people the election was stolen and to go peacefully protest is not fascist. The worst you can say is it was irresponsible. I would agree. What I don't want to hear is that it was any threat to democracy.

This is cover.
The idea that he directed anyone to attack the Capitol is definitely overblown. It was both irresponsible and a threat to democracy so he is wrong about that. But during his 4 years the guy made dozens of statements that were far more threatening and actionable by his supporters.

I don’t think that is cover, more of an attempt to recalibrate. That wasn’t even a top 10 Trump “danger moment.”

Irresponsible is the only applicable term. There was never an actual threat to democracy. I think the problem is Trumps name carries too much emotional attachment for people and it skews perception. Not sure if I asked this before or not but what were the people at the capitol going to accomplish at their worst? The answer is what we saw. They did some damage to the building. Biden still became president, Trumps cases all got thrown out, and some of those people were put in jail. Ya'll keep talking about Trump said this or that. How about objectively looking at things that have actually happened that are threats to democracy and freedom.

- The left has rigged their primaries against their own people. They fucked Bernie and Tulsi both. Hell, Hillary called Tulsi a Russian asset.
- The left, using the CIA and FBI has pressured social media companies to suppress information and silence people. The most egregious was the Biden laptop but there was also shit related to Covid.
- The left pushed Biden out of running for president again. He was very clear with people that he would not bow out and then suddenly he just goes fuck it, support Kamala. They held no primaries to see if people preferred Shapiro, Newsome, etc. So the will of the people was never actually enacted.
- They tried to enforce vaccine passports and kept people from exercising freedom of religion, etc.

I could go on but these things all ACTUALLY happened. It wasn't just someone saying shit. This isn't pro Trump, I am not pro Trump. But you get so caught up in the name that you ignore what has been right in front of you the whole damn time. The left has been attacking freedom and democracy since Trump got elected and how do they keep everyone from questioning it? They keep throwing those accusations at their opponent because he is the boogeyman and they know how he emotionally compromises the people who listen to them.

All that said, I do actually think there is a possibility this time could be different. If Trump loses this time I would say there is a very real possibility the country could be in for some shit. BUT, that is not a Trump issue. Or at least not entirely. The problem is that the left (and the media for that matter) has done so much shit to erode peoples trust that when a guy like Trump says they are cheating it is very easy to buy into. Trump is irresponsible, he is playing with matches around a gasoline soaked wood pile. But the left is who put the wood there and threw gasoline on it.

you a white boy ain't it?

:hahaha:

Saying that means you support trump and will vote for him. Point that out too often and you support Trump.

We've already seen how garbage trump is, and now we're seeing how garbage kamala is as well.
She’s not. But yea I suppose you can use any reason to call any candidate “garbage”, doesn’t matter which one and it doesn’t have to make sense mathematically.

“Garbage” is usually in the eye of the beholder, like many things in life.

The simple fact he called the election stolen and attempted to overthrow the free and fair elections of the US, which all led to J6, an insurrection he was cool with by the way, is fascist actions. There is no other way to spin that and to suggest it was overblown is providing cover.

He literally said let’s march down to the capitol and I’m going with you. Yes he didn’t say “and go in and trash the place”, but when mob bosses use veiled communication that doesn’t relieve them of responsibility when murders happen.

Cover.

J6 not a big deal, left is worse, and if something like J6 happens this time the left is just as much to blame.

Cover.

Typical response from the internet. Can't address anything I actually said so just spout more nonsense.
I addressed things you’ve said directly before and choose to not reiterate.

It’s not nonsense to point out that you are trying to both sides the impacts of Trump’s words and actions. It’s not nonsense to point out that you downplay Trump’s role by saying he simply acted irresponsibly.

That’s cover.

He knows exactly what he’s doing and the potential harm it might bring, same as when he targeted Haitians in Ohio.

See this is what I don't get. Trump says some shit you think is a threat to democracy and you take it at face value. But he says peacefully and patriotically protest and that isn't what he means. And I am trying both sides?

And you aren't addressing the things I said. I asked a question in my post you didn't answer. At worst, what were those people at the capitol going to be able to accomplish?

And understandably it wasn't a question but I will ask now because I really do want to have these conversations. What are your thoughts on all of those things that left have done? Why is what Trump says worse than what they actually do? Why does nobody seemed concerned about freedom of speech, information suppression, and ousting a sitting president? Why does nobody seem concerned when the political machine can replace a candidate with someone who was incredibly unpopular and the entire one side just falls in line and pretends like they are a great candidate?

See for me it isn't Trump needs to win or Kamala needs to win or who is better. It is I want every single person to wake up and be objective about all of it. You don't have to be locked into a team or ideal. You don't have to let the media convince you of lies. Just fucking call it like it is. The government across the board is bloated, corrupt, and far removed from what it is actually supposed to be.

"You think the people of this country exist to provide you with position. I think your position exists to provide those people with freedom" - William Wallace

Maybe it is just a fundamental difference with how we view these things. I view Trumps "attacks and threats" as a an attack on the system, not the people. I view all of those examples of what the left has done recently as attacks on the people. They didn't just silence Trump. If you were a vaccine skeptic they want to silence you. If you thought the virus came from the lab they want to silence you. My side is you and me. Not a them or party.

I didn’t read all of that, but those people were only there because of Trump and they only did what they did because Trump told them the election was stolen. Hard stop.

As far as the left, I’ve never seen anything at that level so until a cult like Democratic leader incites an insurrection, I’m not going to two sides this shit. Yes politicians are shitty and pull bullshit. All the examples you gave of the left I can find for the right.

However, Trump is uniquely unfit to be President and no amount of two sides-ing this shit will change that.
