Should It Be Illegal To Purposely Not Tell Someone You Have An STD?

She’s right in the sense that the onus shouldn’t be on her to disclose.

However, I think it’s wrong not to disclose something like that to a potential partner. If a woman disclosed to me she was HIV positive after the fact, I’m not sure I could trust her at all, undetectable or not.

Why shouldn't the onus be on her? She's the one that has firsthand knowledge that she's carrying a deadly disease. Why should be allowed to knowingly expose someone to that disease without telling them?

Let us not forget this whole thing back on the IC about the German singer Nadja Benaissa that was facing 10 years of real prison time for not telling her dude she was HIV positive and infecting him.

I remember some of y'all nasty ass niggas talmbout being willing to risk it for this broad.

But... Yeah, take a cue from the Germans: prison time if you got some incurable STD and knowingly expose folks to that shit, regardless of whether or not they contracted it.

Whether she has first hand knowledge or not doesn't matter, it's your body. Who's responsible for it's safety ultimately? It's you. By not asking about her status, you're essentially handing that responsibility to a practical stranger, which is absurd. Just because a woman wants to fuck you, doesn't also mean she has your best interest at heart.

Not if they had the surgery I assumed. It's one of those things you don't know until they tell you I imagine. Though I have never seen a transformed vagina.

My wife looked up some surgical pics of the "transformation" after getting hooked on watching "My Name Is Jazz". She showed me the end result of one on her phone 'cause she wanted to see if I could tell if it was real or not.

That shit don't look real. You're either dense as fuck to not know that what you're looking at ain't a real pussy or simply don't care and will stick your dick in anything.

I never have to see that shit ever again in life, but at least nowadays I know I can spot a forgery.

Guys

Before you get intimate with a woman, ask for her paperwork and show her yours

Best thing to do is get tested during the same week so y'all can have the most up to date results

Do you guys remember the scumbag thread in the good old IC days from the 2010s?

I revealed a situation where a girl I seriously thought about dating informed me before we got serious that she had an incurable STD. What a stressful time

😢

lol No one is saying that the dudes that she deals with have no responsibility for their own health. That do, but them bearing that responsibility doesn't somehow make it ok for her to knowingly endanger them. I can't believe this is even a debate. She KNOWS she has the disease. There is no good reason for her not to disclose that information before she commits an act with someone that will put them in danger of contracting that disease.

It reminds me of the dumbass logic transgendered women use to justify not telling men that they are natural born males. To them, it's the man's job to ask. So what now? When men go holla at a chick, should the first things they say be "What's up? Are you really a woman and do you have any diseases?"

I didn't get this from her response

He's basically saying that people have no responsibility to protect others even if they have inside information that they don't.
And they don’t.

What I’m saying is know your partner’s status, don’t rely on their good intentions or the government to protect you. I didn’t realize that was such a radical idea.

It’s not but she does bear an onus to tell somebody she has a fatal std. people get locked up for it all the time. And of course they could simply lie or have faulty paperwork too. But yes the person with the fatal std needs to tell another sex partner what going on

And if she has a my hart of some sort of doc app on her phone you can see her results even if it’s just a club chick. But I guess it assumes you will use a condom and that she don’t got a bump on her leg or someshit

lol But nobody's arguing that it's not good practice for you to do your own due diligence. We're saying that it's fucked up for someone to know they are burning and choose not to disclose that information before having sex. And based on some of the info that has been provided in this topic, it's also illegal in some places. So, what are we really arguing about here?
