One day we're going to have an honest conversation about crimes or situations that have absolutely nothing to do with being black
That person was just in the wrong. Nothing more or less
^^^^I’m 100000% certain there was a better example out there than that one.
I mean it was extreme and hyperbolic for sure, but I feel like he's moving in that direction. When you got Diddy being accused by 120 people and Goldie's stance sometimes isn't so much that Diddy isn't guilty but that whites in Hollywood are doing the same thing, you got to ask where's the line for that kind of argument?
What's the problem with this stance?
Here I am thinking I'm looking out for my people lol
Yall got it
All guilty people should be punished especially when it comes to sexual assault and rape. The idea that Diddy should get away with it because some white people get away with it is crazy.
How you looking out for your people when many of Diddy's alleged victims are black too?
I never said Diddy should get away with anything.
I'll go back to the example I've been using this whole time...Not in those words, but when you make light of what he's being accused of and deflect from the wrong he's done, you're undermining the attempt to get justice. We can have a discussion about white people needing to face punishment for their crimes, but that shouldn't come up as a retort to people saying Diddy should pay for his.
I'll go back to the example I've been using this whole time...
When black people call out the disproportionate amount of blacks in prison compared to whites, we're not justifying the criminals in prison.. Just highlighting the bigger picture.
Yall got it tho. I'll fall back.
This is nowhere close to the example you tried to make bI'll go back to the example I've been using this whole time...
