Right because Feige wanted a more self contained street level story but then had to cave to the pressure of the higher ups?

Sony wanted Venom, Tobey and Andrew back and held shit hostage til they got their way. They lucked out tho cause Marvel ended up pivoting to DOOM and using that to tell a multiverse story that will accommodate Sony's wants. They trying to merge whatever street level story together now with a multiverse angle.
