Yes. The original was in 1976.

They remade it in 2002 as a tv movie I think and then remade it again as a film in 2013.

It was more about the era and moment. Carrie was something people had never seen before so it became a cult classic but it's bullshit don't waste your time.
 
Pass. Has Stephen King wrote anything half decent the last decade cuz we seeing the same old as time stories put to screen now.
