WWE Bad Blood 🩸 (10/5/24)

Added to Calendar: 10-05-24

Aside from the HIAC and the tag this show as a whole was a dud. This is why these 5 card shows are problematic. With all the filler you could have easily had the tag team ladder match or Gunther / Sami. At least those matches would have made up for them Judgement Day matches

Could of easily done one of the judgement day matches on RAW and let one of those other matches cook. Either one of those would of helped the show more imo

Potentially having Gunther vs Cody at Crown Jewel feels like a waste. This match should be at a Wrestlemania.

Lol I seen someone suggest that the Goldberg spot was a tease; Sami beats Gunther tomorrow nite
This way we get Cody / Sami and Goldberg / Gunther at Crown Jewel
And Cody / Gunther gets saved in the process

I enjoyed this PLE

Does every title maybe need to be on a PLE? No

You can occasionally have a world title match or secondary title match on a raw or smackdown. I like that they do this. Maybe 5-7 matches on a PLE is better but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal

Punk vs. Drew:

For those who have asked about CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, we can confirm they are very banged up, as you would imagine.

Punk collapsing in the aisle on the way back was not a sign of any injury or distress from what we have heard. It was just him doing an amazing job of selling.

As we broke last night, Drew McIntyre received a legitimate 16 staples in his head from the tool box shot. There were other talents marveling at him powering through that after the match.

We've been asked if McIntyre was injured in the gnarly stairs spot, but all signs this afternoon are that he somehow escaped injury there.

The feeling backstage was they brought back the sense of danger and ferociousness that steel cage matches and later the Cell bouts used to carry.

PWInsiderElite.com has confirmed the following producers for last night's Bad Blood PPV:

-Chris "Abyss" Park - CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre.

-Petey Williams - Nia Jax vs. Bayley.

-Adam Pearce - Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest.

-Adam Pearce - Goldberg-GUNTHER-Levesque segment.

-TJ Wilson - Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley.

-Bobby Roode (There may have been other Producers as well, we have not 100% confirmed who) -Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline.

Additional Notes:

We are told Paul Heyman was backstage at the PPV and obviously, he is always very intricately involved with everything Roman related as well.

Ata Johnson, The Rock's mother was in attendance last night.

WWE intends to build up the Saturday Night's Main Event specials as if they are PPV caliber events, we are told.

Jimmy Uso and Raquel Rodriguez are 100% back full-time going forward.

This was a good PLE even tho I personally would have preferred the HIAC match main event. I figured Priest was gonna win but he’s not done with Judgement Day. Both women’s matches were meh for me but at least they furthered their respective storylines in a meaningful way. The tag match was what I expected up to and including Jimmy and Rock coming back. The Cell match was great. Best one in years. 4 out of 5 PPV.

Priest better be done with JD. That win sealed it for me. Why keep making JD look weak? Finn has been shafted ever since his injury.

I just don’t know where Priest goes from here if he’s done with them. I would have rather Finn win but I had a feeling they wasn’t gonna let Priest take the L. I think Finn gonna get the win over him on a episode of Raw.
