DC's The Batman, Part II (October 2, 2026)

You think this iteration is trying to replicate or rather expand what Nolan did?
The grounded approach feels like a replication minus a few things Reeves did differently here and there. But it seems like Reeves just like Nolan isnt trying to use villains that are kinda supernatural like a Freeze, Killer Croc or Clayface. Even if folks are clamoring to see it I dont think it should be totally off the table cause then it just feels like a Batman playing off the same blueprint as Nolan's....

But it also depends on what they do with this next one and we dont really have any info on it.

I thought it was initially reported that Clayface will be in this?

I want Tim Burton’s Gotham world and villains.

His take helped shape everything batman today.

Only thing that was hype about TDK was Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker primarily IMO

And then he died before the movie was released ... Which overinflated the movies worth

In Nolan's trilogy... All the antagonists and villains outshined Bale's Batman in acting skills ..

Ok this is fair

For me, I liked the more noir/detective approach which is vastly different from the Nolan contribution.

I think seeing this Batman iron out some things internally as well as his gadgets in trying to see what works

I'm really looking forward to it as I had low expectations for the first one but I really enjoyed the darker tone

I thought the story, pacing, and score were superb as well. Bale’s acting aside, the other actors like Oldman did well too.
