Michael Rubin: The Black Community Tear Each Other Down

Next thing you know he gonna start talking about Black on Black crime and IQ and why Marcus Garvey was right.

Rubin from that era.

So he says he loves helping his friends do better, (which like 99.% of people also like doing), then goes on to say he doesnt understand black people hating other black people. And his example was the black female judge going outa her way to give Meek a hard time. How is that not comparing apples to oranges? Its clear hes lives in a bubble and only has a few black people he interacts with that are rich entertainers or athletes.

Black people dont tear each other down no more than other communities tear each other down. The difference is we arnt just affected by in fighting, we got people we dont even know that take pleasure in tearing us down. So our community is more greatly affected than everyone else. And forget that black judge, white judges have been going out of their way to give black people long prison sentences for over a hundred years, thats real hate. Bet if that was pointed out he'd have nothing to say and have to go back to the drawing board. But of course that wouldnt of happened on The Breakfast Club. The hosts are half retarded and prob wanna get invited to his exclusive parties.

Sounds like he's framing it as "black on black crime" which I don't like at all, and it's not his place to say.

I don't disagree with his points that we should be lifting eachother up and culturally frowning at tearing eachother down.

Nothing gets solved if we don't start there. Black people everywhere need to lock in. Learn to thrive off eachother again.

Every single culture and group of people have infighting.

It's what makes everyone better.

The idea that there can be unity and cooperation without conflict within and between groups is why people are weak today.

Conflict and criticism is called hating and looking how stupid, unserious and vacant Black American intellectual culture has become.

I got a phone call from one of the people I have the most respect for in the world - they told me while they appreciate my intention, it’s not my place to speak on black culture. I get it and really appreciate the input!

My intention was to say how important it is that we need to uplift each other, stop hate on each other, and push each other to win, and always root for each other’s success!
