Your worst travel transportation experiences

loud-ninja

Here to point out the illogical
Simply put, tell some of your worst experiences when taking transportation to get to you long distance destination. This can include flying, train, or vehicle. Don't describe your actual trip but describe the transportation part of the trip

Oddly enough, I actually don't have anything extreme. Flight been delayed but not longer than 2-3 hours. Nothing bad.

When I flew to Dubai, there was a girl in my row. Middle seat was empty. We talked on and off. Sometimes I didn't feel like talking cause it was a long flight but it didn't bother me too much. She was going to a funeral. Had on my headphones. I started to hear her cry. I didn't know what to do. I asked her what is wrong. She was crying cause her family were planning on starting the funeral without her. I really didn't know what to say. I put my headphones back on and turned the volume up.

My parents were in the row in front. My dad was annoyed with the crying, lol. She was behind her.

Worst flight was sharing an aisle with a grieving woman and ya inconsiderate parent....

Let's just put this here b4 it starts stinking up the house

Lol, it really wasn't that bad of a flight.

She was cool. I asked her if she was good. She was just going through the motions. That was a long ass flight.

Now answer the threads question. I thought you change clothes and go all the time?

I'm on the go as I type. Gonna check out an NFL game since I'm in town

I don't have any bad traveling tales, life is good🤷🏿‍♂️

Ah, well Spirit just cancelled my fight 8 hours before it was scheduled to take off last Tuesday. So I cancelled with them and scrambled to find another flight.

Then on my flight back Saturday (which was delayed by an hour and already had a 2 hour layover cause it was connected) the pilot and attendants were stuck in the air because of a storm around Denver airport; which delayed that fight for over an hour.

worst experience mightve been travelling standby years ago. Usually it aint an issue and It was a rare occurrence but one time the flight was full and we were on standby... a couple ticketed folks were late and missed the call so we got our seats and boarded the plane. After we boarded these assholes managed to get to the gate right before the doors closed and they tried to call our names over the intercom.. Ignored that shit like FOH.. we already boarded and they missed they chance.. flight attendant ended up coming to our seat like

lol ended up having to get off the plane in the wind up 🤣

Made the next flight tho

The flight TO South Africa was brutal.

Riding middle seat for 15 hours with in between my wife and a guy with NO spatial awareness sucked.

Glad the plane wasn’t sold out for going home.

had a similar experience going to Kenya.. middle seat.. that shit was brutal.. said fuck all that for the way home and got a business/first class for the trip back. Made a world of difference. It was weird too cuz they had like a damn auction type deal to get the seat lol. ended up getting it for the low too thankfully.

I promise any flight over 4 hours im not doing economy if I can help it

I got lucky with my long distance trips. The ones that had me go across the pond, I either had a whole row, or the middle was empty. We'll, when I went to Greece, I paid for upgraded seats. Not business or first class. Just ones with more space. That was a waste cause the flight wasn't nearly full and it was a big plane to where it had 2 aisles. My boys were spread out on the empty row. I couldn't do that with my seat because the arm rest didn't go up. It did have a leg rest though

I almost blew a gasket about 3 weeks ago traveling from I think Charlotte to Sacramento. Was always able to change my seat from the middle seat since my friend/coworker knows the ins and outs of flying. He said to wait until the day of the flight to change my seat from the middle. Had I did what I wanted and got on the app to change it the day before, I’d be a few rows back but I’m not in the middle. Smh it was a full flight the agent told me and I had to be in the middle for 5 fucking hours. I hadn’t been that mad in years

I was so angry that I told him not to say shit to me for the entire car ride which was an hour to the hotel. Didn’t see or speak to my friend for the rest of the day

I was the person the the airplane with a screaming baby. My son was 6 months old. Was fine the entire 5 hour flight there…screamed his head off the entire 5 hour flight back. SMH.
Man, I recently had a flight with a baby maybe 2 rows behind. Their screams can hit mariah carey pitches . I threw my headphones on so quick. Felt like I was getting attached by a banshee
