What he's promoting is stupid, but I do get his sentiment that parents have more of a vested interest in the future than some people who don't have kids.
In fact, I know people who will tell you they believe humanity is cooked in the future, and they don't give a fuck because they'll be dead when it really goes down. If you got kids, you're less likely to feel that way.

If anything that's a case to stop letting anyone over 60 be in govt cuz how much can they care when they'll be dead and their kids and grandkids will be set. Ppl with chronic illnesses shouldn't get a vote. Black ppl shouldn't get a vote bc our life expectancies are lower. Like do we really need to go down this rabbit hole of who matters and who doesn't.
