Not at all. If his goals in a relationship are to have a family, and she kept that from him, he should have every right to walk away and pursue that goal, especially if their relationship had a partial foundation of deception.

Staying is only going to have him with regrets if kids are what he's after. Is the woman more important or having kids, not an easy decision after putting 7 years in a relationship.
