From what I just read they had to cut a lot of CTU staff to trim the deficit and yet this budget doesn't even include teachers raises and contract negotiations.
And some restructuring of the debt.
So basically kick the can down the road. Sounds like the federal government.

The budget was based on the influx of money that came from Covid funds which is obviously going away
Hence why the governor told BJ to eat a dick for asking for funds based on monies that no longer are available
