Apparently he's too busy with peacemaker, superman and some other show/movie he can't put too much focus on the comic con panel this year. That's the excuse at least.
I didnt see a post for it, but Joel kinnamen is coming back for peacemaker season 2. Dunno if it's flashbacks or Rick flagg surviving or being revived. We gotta remember that peacemaker season 2 is going to be set in a different universe than the previous. It will be officially part of the new DCU and will address the change in sime way. Probably due to the Flashpoint events.

That sucks. Can't release something during one of the games on Sunday night or Monday night this year?
Strategically, no. You want the movie that essentially starts the DCU and one of the most anticipated movies in 2025 to have as many eyes on it as possible. Thats why I think they'll wait till the Super Bowl just like Marvel did for Deadpool & Wolverine
