I get it but the Madea character works because it IS played by Tyler Perry.

Ans yeah…my gripe with Tyler has always been that he got that studio and all the resources to make real quality content and still producing chitlin circuit level productions…its frustrating

His studio should be producing Academy Award and Emmy level content

Instead this nigga tryna win hoodie awards every year smh

But WHY did he kill his father? Why not show a flashback of that? Why not flashback to the beginning of their relationship when it was good. The flashbacks were horrible. Her daddy even said soon as she hit with him she wasn’t as happy. So I would have loved to see that.

The movie was missing parts that could make it more relatable. This was a very on the surface movie.
