The 2023-2024 Los Angeles Lakers Thread (See you in 24-25)

Really disappointed in Max Lewis’ summer league performance. Had a good first game bcos they were biting on his pump fake. Once teams stopped doing that, he showed he really has a long way to good before he is a solid rotation player.

@TTBF would this be a good pick up for my Lakers? I remember him showing some promise, but the sample size was so small.

Hard to say. I wasn't left overly confident from what I saw in his time here. Some holes in his game but he's a legit rim protector, has gym rat mentality and seems like he's willing to do the work to get where he needs to be.

As far as Lakers go. If you guys aren't signing him thinking long term then I don't see the point. He's not a quick fix.

We are kinda desperate, lol. Wood just had surgery on his knee and Hayes sucks. Trading for a Center is difficult bcos of the Lakers tax. So this might be our best option.

I personally will like to see Castleton get a shot, but i dont think that will happen.

I don't love the fit but I guess yall out of options at this point. He's definitely better than Hayes and Castleton rn.
