Been there did that. Naw I didn't take the charge either, no question.
-Homes left a burner in my car when he didn't have one and no ride to work at a call center. Coworkers started showing up late or leaving they desks and a small crowd building up in the parking lot. Cops came too and saw it. Cop was very professional and decent, and saw what was going on. Bro said something about he left his lunch in my car, so he needed keys to go get it. Nigga left the burner in plain sight, didn't leave it under the seat or anything. If a body came back on it, yeah I was about to turn into Masta Splinta. I got fired, didn't go to jail over it. For a jit around that age, that was a nice gig. Some jawns was there and I was gettin' legal $$. They had easy requirements too, like just have a collar shirt, on time, speak English (not slang) and niggas who worked there couldn't even follow them rules.
-Months later. Went to a club/bar, bro was mad about it that I didn't cover for him. Tore da spot up. Got maced by security people leaving and running out the club while we both got restrained. Dude even snuck a cheap shot in on me while I was blinded by the mace. DJ started yelling over the mic/speakers hollerin' about "Shut It Down". The people in the far back away from the fight was the last to leave. Some females walked past while we on da ground and while I'm faced down and blinded, I hear they heels, just clackin' clackin clackin' walking by and they juuust BUST OUT LAUGHING! Just with a loud, care-free, laughter too. Looking at all of it.
-I was either bout to catch a charge or get away with a slide. Went to a gas station, they had a pair of black gloves/black masks for sale. So I bought a pair. I just ain't have my own burner, so I started looking for one. It was on my mind. Years past. Believe it or not, seen buddy that left a burner in my whip at a riverbank. Dude married or had a girl and we briefly spoke. No beef or nothing. I ain't gonna hang out w/ that nigga or his fam ever again, cause they been to my crib and I been to there's since we worked together. Hope the best for em'.
-I still drive around that street the call center on. They done transformed it, but those memories was a trip.
