FEATURED Will Jay-Z Respond To Eminem or Act Too Busy?

test
I feel like Jay sent a dart at Em when he said “ or some a bunch of shit in his rhymes” on that song

"What More can I say" ?,yeah I think it was a sub at the whole Aftermath camp, "I ain't get shot up a whole bunch of times/or make shit up in a whole bunch of lines/and I ain't animated like say a Busta Rhymes" ,first bar is for Fif,second bar for Em,third bar for Bus 😤

Jay debunked those lines. Especially the Busta line. Busta even thought it was shot fired. Jay said it wasn't. He was just making comparisons. I thought that was obvious. Lol

Exactly.I couldn't think of the exact song or quote, but it was so vague it was hard to just say it's about them, but it is lol

Funny because Em was on his last album and produced on this album, but I mean rappers gonna rap....

how? with gossip and lies? lmao yall delusional and wouldnt survive in the 90's/2000's
All battles have always been somewhat gossipy by nature.

Jay and Pac said they slept with their opponents girls just for example.

Nas said Jay was getting chased to his bldg.

Canibus said LL studied his rhyme and changed his verse .He also said he got fucked in the ass by his father figure later.

Mobb Deep said Pac got raped in jail.

What makes these angles any less gossipy?

Yall really think Em washed Jay wit’ “takin’ baths wit’ Catholics” bars?!

Renegade without Em and only Jay bars would be fire…Renegade without Jay and only Em rappin’ is just another weird ass Em track

Y’all buggin’…
You boiled that verse down to that line? There was a purpose in saying that when religious groups were coming down hard on Em .No Diddy

What makes it even worse is he already had the verse or most of it on that song before Jay was on it.

Jay was dope on there too,but for me Em's style changes on there were top notch.

Something about when he hits that flow and breaks it up with "Like you ain't experiment Na Na" and goes into a whole different pattern is crazy to me

His wordplay is insane on there. "You fucking do gooders to bad you was too good as parents"

Jay's verses are great, but to me they were what Jay always rapped about, while Em kinda took a more creative approach.

Nah….Em’s verse is weird white boy rhetoric as usual…he says it n a very technical way because I know he can rap…but still

But I don’t care if you feel a way about having to “go to war wit tha world/being picked on by tha world ”because you feel like being an antagonist anarchist…that’s on you

Again…I’ve always seen his verse as more of his weird white boy/Rude Jude shit that just doesn’t appeal to me

Jay’s verses are fire and are more in tune with what I prefer to listen to…basically Jay was sayin’ shit

Therefore to ME Jay didn’t get smoked by Em simply because Em is a really technical rapper…tha verse is corny to me down to him taking baths wit Catholics and going to war wit Mormons

I didn't see his verse as particular to white ppl,but if that's how you see it,that's how you see it.

I didn’t say white people stuff I said antagonist white boy stuff…I went to school wit’ kids like him that were always doing summin then turned it into “why am I getting picked on?!?! Why do people always say I’m wrong?!” Cuz fucker you stay bein’ an asshole…

Just not what I wanna hear but for those of y’all who say it’s fire so be it…that’s your preference…I feel like tha song without would have still been fire…tha song without Jay wouldn’t have got listened to

I understand your point, but I took as him talking about himself and about hip hop as a whole and some other music that was under siege then

It got more play than when Royce was on the original if I remember right... but it may also not have been commercially released until Jay

I always believe that Eminem got a lot of praise because of an ability to do something and that’s it. Meaning they give him credit for knowing how to do it, not necessarily because of what he did. It’s like someone like giving an athlete credit because he knows how to dribble ball. It’s like isn’t he supposed to know how to dribble it? Isn’t a quarterback supposed to know how to throw a football? Isn’t a boxer supposed to know how to throw a jab? It’s really the same thing.

So when people talk about Eminem killin Jay on renegade, they’re only saying that because it’s easier to latch on to what Eminem did. He was a great technical rapper, that showed you that he knew how to put words together in a technical way. So when Jay-Z starts off the song asking, do you fools listen to or do you just skim through it, it’s because he knew that he was not gonna be received as well as Eminem. Jay was saying some legitimate stuff on renegade. Eminem talked about his own self imposed career issues based on the controversies that he created. Jay rapped about the circumstances he was placed in and what he dealt with. So in terms of that alone, how can anybody actually listen to both verses and clearly think that Jay got out rapped?

in the end, it’s just what it is. He made white guy rap. Which is why I always tell people, the grand chunk of Eminem fans, are not fans, they’re Eminem fans.
