This prompted Charlamange and others to call out Meek to drop a record and when he did it was trash, had he waited maybe it would have been better.

Dropping mixtapes, collab albums and double albums but promoting them as albums with Cash Money marketing dollars to fulfill his contract obligations sooner. Also very tactical.

Other things like using Quentin Miller as a scapegoat and getting him to say he also wrote for Meek Mill before getting rid of him. Certain collaborations to help create business relationships. Also that he took a multi label deal with Republic, Universal and YMCMB so if YMCMB tried to act funny (which they're notorious for) he has 2 giants to fight on his behalf while appearing cordial, so they cant bully him into bad deals like they did virtually every artist they've ever worked with.

Also releasing Certified Lover Boy independently and using a Kim K snippet to taunt Kanye and get him to push his entire DONDA album as an answer to CLB which enabled it to sell better than it should have.

I know people hate Drake but goddamn he sure isn't a dummy to not even be from here and somehow been able to stay on top of rap as the biggest seller.

Back to back coming after charged up so quickly was because charged up was mid and people knew it 🤷🏾‍♂️. I don't think consider star power that tactical lol. Drake ain't ask ESPN and McDonalds, and IG to whoop Meeks ass. Capitalism did.

Going all the way back to Meek and moving forward, Drake's only strategy is pretty much wholly reliant on your girl being a bird, and the people around you not being solid and needing money. It was the same angle he attempted to take on Pusha T, and he completely folded on it when he couldn't enact it against Kendrick. I can't call nobody strategist with one strategy and no adaptability lol.

I expect a tactician to recognize dissing someone for being molested ain't going over well. Tacticians have to think past a surface level, If Kendrick allegedly beats Whitney, and Drake anchors a part of Family Matters in that allegation, common sense and stats both say all Drake is about to accomplish is getting Whitney hurt. I know that wasn't his winning strategy lol. Drake couldn't even find a way to bow out with respect, rambling all that delusional shit at the end. And trying to save his ego with that summer vibes declaration is an unnecessary expectation he set on himself. Because if Dot does have an album coming and if it runs the summer, people can use it against Drake. Dude ain't had a good idea in almost 3 months. And it looks worse in hindsight. Drake being tactical seems like a smokescreen at this point. It's great marketing though.

Agree to disagree on the label issues, Q Miller, Kanye etc. I didn't get any of what you got from them situations.
