If you can name a movie that was rated PG13 or higher and released in the 90s, I more than likely have not seen it. My parents were very strict when it came to letting us watch only “age appropriate” movies and TV shows, and there are only a handful that I went back to watch later.

There are so many that it’s kinda overwhelming.

For that reason many cultural references from that era just don’t really land with me.
