I just beat those bitchass twin gargoyles in Siofra without using the cheese for the first time. I don't know if they patched it out or what but I just couldn't get those assholes to fall and that is not an enjoyable battle for me at all.
 
Man these enemies got poise for DAYS it feel like. You need one of them big mallets to knock them down

They won’t patch it, Elden ring was for the masses, dlc for the hardcore souls fans.

It’s what the game has always been, amazing content loving it so far.
 
Those Scadutree blessing make a huge difference. It feels back like normal although Enemies are still super aggressive to prevent cheese strategies and hit like a truck.

6 to 8 hit chains by the bosses make melania fight look like nothing lol
 
Was wandering round yesterday can across a giant red bear, thought wouldn’t be much worse than a run bear.

Held my own till I got him down to an 1/8th of his health, absolutely ragdolled me from that point on couldn’t heal or nothing 😂.

Gunna try smack him up after work.

Also those beast claws wreck shit.
 
Ran up on that Bloodfinger Hunter Yura muthafucca wit the two blades. I was one slash away from puttin his azzz down...but then my lock on turn off! Swung twice in the wrong direction. Muthafucca turns around and slice my azzz UP. Smh

So far the difficulty is on par w/ the base game. I haven’t encountered anything too crazy yet, but it’s still humbling to see my level 320+ character get 1-2 shotted by bosses and regular enemies.
 
Iight I'm giving it a legit chance this playthrough. When it first dropped I went in with absolutely no idea of what I was doing. I couldn't get passed Margit The Fell Omen. On my second playthrough, I beat that bitch over the weekend. I had to rely heavily on internet tips. Learned so much about the game via YouTube. They aint shit for that bare bones tutorial in game.
 
Just when you thought you figured out a boss's attack pattern...they hit you wit an okey doke move that gets you kilt expeditiously.
 
I finally got past the point where I quit on my first play-through (the fucking haligtree) but I kinda feel like putting it down again now. This game is too long.

Finally beat that muthafucca. A flawless victory at that. Went directly at him as soon as he spawned. Held L2 and pressed R1...uppercut sliced his azzz. When he landed...did it a 2nd time. This stunned him. Plunged the my blade in his gut. Then repeated it again.

Was surprisingly shocked how fast I beat him. Especially considering it took me 50leven times b4 that. Lol

Accidently beat him. Honestly....we killed each other at the same time. But then I briefly saw the image of the blade I acquired pop up b4 i respwaned back my starting point. So I returned back to the spot expecting to fight that muthafucca again and saw the entry of the cave was now open. When I checked my inventory and saw his. blade...

Took 2 fucking years, but after putting some real time in I fuck with Elden Ring. They should be ashamed for that tutorial they have. So much shit you have to find on your own and through YouTube tutorials.
