Ok… you starting to sound like Nessa from The Bernie Mac Show now.
Peace out
It's just a concept that don't work for all areas

I wanna see this energy on all topics when it comes to being grateful/ungrateful
Which also means parts should be easy to find.
Also that Volvo’s seat warmers had a short where it would shock you in the ass.
One day the speaker wire melted and the plastic popped onto my leg.
But it was a fucking tank. Got rear ended once by a lebaron. Got out saw the other car was fucked all the way up, looked at my shit and only saw a scuff mark on top of the bumper. Looked like a cigarette was left to burn on it. I looked at dude and said “your shits fucked up mines fine I’m finna dip”
Yeah give an inexperienced driver a car that could fuck up at any moment. Very smart decision
Bruh, when I was 16, this was supposed to be my first car:
Same color and everything. I did NOT want that bitch 'cause it was big as shit and old as fuck in my eyes (19 years old to be exact). Me and my stepfather drove it home 100 miles from Saginaw to Detroit and parked it in the driveway behind the house and got to working on it. Every time he was like "this is gonna be your car" I would just cringe at the thought, but I kept those thoughts in my head. The one thing I never did was appear ungrateful to have been GIVEN a car for free. I was gonna bounce that car everywhere I needed to go, and when college came around the plan was to sell it so I could get something I wanted.
And that’s great for you. You were more mature at 19 than this girl is at 16 or 17. But that’s irrelevant. Cuz if you had said you ain’t want that shit and decided you’d rather keep fucking walking…you wouldn’t have been unreasonable.
An immature nigga who was more concerned about the aesthetics than getting from A to B? Yes.
Unreasonable? No.
Know why? CUZ YOU AIN’T WANT THAT SHIT AND THAT’S TOTALLY OK.
Better than a new more expensive for a new driver.Yeah give an inexperienced driver a car that could fuck up at any moment. Very smart decision

Are you drunk? I said newer cars are safer in all aspects, airbags being one of the reasons. How is that a vague mystery point I made up? Thats a literal facts. And some how you were offended and came in ranting about how you can be injured by airbags in new cars. What point is being proven??? Who's even trying to prove some vague, mystery point you've made up in your head???
Also, here's a list of the most common injuries from airbag deployment, from 2022:
You ain't proving what you think you are. Airbags are STILL dangerous. Possibly even moreso because you now have multiple airbags deploying in a collision, therefore are now exposed to more points of impact. Shrapnel flying from the deployment is STILL a problem in 2024 just as much as it was in 1994 so where are you going with this???
- Facial injuries including bruising and fractures to the small bone due to the impact of the airbag
- Chest injuries including heart injuries due to the impact of the airbag against the chest
- Burns on the chest, hands, arms, or face when the fabric of the airbag moves along the skin
- Fractures including to the skull, ribs, and wrist bones
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Eye injuries from chemical irritation or from the pressure of the airbag
- Ear trauma, including hearing loss
- Internal bleeding if organs are damaged by airbag deployment
- Asthma attacks and other respiratory issues due to the chemicals involved in deployment
- Injury to the fetus in pregnant women
BTW, a decent 2010 Civic is $4000-$5000 in somewhat roadworthy condition with issues that still need to be repaired. That shit ain't cheap by any stretch of the imagination.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's records show that in 1997, 53 people were killed by the deployment of the front seat airbags in a crash [source: Edmunds]. Of those fatalities, 31 were children, which led to further overhaul of safety regulations and the modification of airbag force. However, these modified airbag deployments were still dangerous to children because their bodies are too small to handle that amount of force. One solution was to recommend that children sit in the back seat, with age-appropriate car seats or boosters, if necessary.
"Advanced" and "smart" airbags entered the arena in the early 2000s, ushered in by even more safety regulations as well as hot competition for cars with the best safety rankings. Car manufacturers were then required to equip front seats with sensors that could estimate the size and weight of the occupant, and adjust the force of the airbag's deployment accordingly. Many of these systems were inaccurate, but the manufacturers gradually got it right. And it wasn't just front airbags, either. Rear, side and curtain (or over the window) airbags joined the ranks. These new airbags had more accurate deployment systems and featured multiple chambers that were less likely to rupture.
By this time, it had been demonstrated that more modern airbags actually improved safety in car crashes.
But they didn't just not want it, they talked down on it. They even made sure to say how they expected more. I think most people understand and agree that it's okay to turn down things you do not want. But to speak poorly of it while doing so makes you look ungrateful and entitled, which this child clearly is.
Oh my bad. You did say that. The car was 19 years old. Not you. My bad.I was the same age: 16.
any used car can fuck up at any moment. Shit, for that matter so can new cars. There's a reason there's mad TSB's for nearly every car released .
Better than a new more expensive for a new driver.
First car should not be even remotely costly for a 16 year.
Getting a 16 year a really nice car is crazy talk.
Do y’all even own cars and have children?
If the engine and transmission is all goodwork and have AC in it. They good to go and should be grateful that they have something that probably 80% of the kids their age have
Folks need to check their privilege. Including a few of y’all.
Bruh she don't live nowhere where a bus run. That's when you tell her ungrateful ass "have fun with the bus."
IDKThere's a middle ground between new car and 20-30 year old car. You're acting like that doesn't exist. A person not having a child or owning a car wouldn't negate them from knowing whether or not how much they'd appreciate a gift they didn't actually like. There's no binding contract to a gift. The receiver is well within their right to not like it. It's really not that complicated.
I’m on record for saying my generationand younger are so self centered and selfish.IDK
For some reason or better yet, lemme speak for me
It seems like this generation lacks humility. We've made things look so easy because our parents struggled, their parents struggled... So when my mama got me my first car (89 Tercel back in 01), I thought that shit was a Maybach. I was washing it like every other week. It was either that or nothing. I also learned a good bit about cars from having to work on it here and there
Some of my classmates had new mustangs, accords, etc but I was so proud of my shit and wanted to show my mama how appreciative I was for her getting it for me
I'ma push back for a secI’m on record for saying my generationand younger are so self centered and selfish.
Hot take
Therapy somewhat pushes us into acting only for self.
IDK
