Ion know, I always thought they were just together and I went on ancestry and saw their marriage license. Blew my mind, to this day I still don’t understand how they were together, let alone married

Both my mother and father have commitment problems.
But somehow managed to retire from the military.
Maybe that speaks more to the people they married tho… cause between the two of them… they been married more times than Liz Taylor, Halle Berry and J.Lo…combined.
Where as I myself have past the 20 year mark in my marriage, while both my parents have barely touched 10.
Make of that what you will.

. I'm sometimes shocked that they have been this long. But the love is there and strong..even though they have some times lol. But they from that era we in it to the wheels fall off. We gonna work this out some way and some how.
Sometimes I wish that we had that give it a try and work for it and not just quit these days.

Married for 32 years , my mom passed away in 2007 . They were born in the 1950’s and knew each others family since the late 1950’s in The Bronx ,so their relationship and outlook on life was we are going to have our ups and downs and try to work through them for their marriage and the family .
