As a young kid i remember my dad telling me about going to Laker games and watching Jerry West. He spoke on how great he was and crazy shots he would hit.
When i was in 3rd grade back in like 96 or 97 i mailed a letter to the Lakers address asking for Jerry Wests autograph.
He sent an 8x10 gloss photograph with him as a player on the left, Laker logo in the middle, & him as a coach on the right. Signed in sharpie.
I thought that was so cool. I had that framed in my room all thru high-school.
