In this series I'll be highlighting Lil Wayne's best guest feature each year from the last 20 years.


Wayne's arguably the greatest to ever do it when it comes to guest features. Since a kid he's been killing other artists' songs and creating history with songs like "Bling Bling" and "Back That Azz Up", but we're going to start with 2004.




2004

"Solider" - Destiny's Child





It's not his most lyrical guest feature of 2004, but it's one of, if not his most important guest feature of his career. It showcased him to a whole different demographic and was the start of Wayne becoming one of the main rappers that RnB and Pop artists call on for guest appearances.


On Drink Champs they spoke on Hov helping orchestrate Wayne getting on the song and how there was push back initially.
