My point is that they’re a young team let them grow and develop organically. There’s no rush right now. We don’t know what these guys could be in 2/3 years.

You literally can't afford to wait 2-3 years

If players fit, complement each other and/or show flashes of being a certain type of player that's different.....you can let them cook

Otherwise you're putting a ceiling on how good you can be trying to keep every single young player you have because you think they're eventually going to develope into a starting caliber NBA player

Their core players are in their early 20’s. They have zero expectations, what’s the rush? Go get Klay Thompson 😂?

Simons to some extent fits their timeline that could work.

He's 24 lol

Paolo and Franz both getting max contracts very soon and you aren't going to have roster flexibility forever

You're running your offense through two forwards so you don't need a point guard that has to have the ball in their hands or thats going to pound the rock for 20 seconds......Simons can play on or off ball and is a really good 3pt shooter who can catch and shoot or shoot off the dribble

Don’t they already have point guards that are pass first already?

They have Suggs, Fultz and Anthony Black as point guards....none of them are dynamic enough or do anything on ball that make defenses have to gameplan.....hell they were leaving Franz Wagner wide open from 3

I fuck with all those players but that ain't going to cut it if you actually trying to do something

Simons giving you 23 pts per game shooting 39% from 3 on damn near 9 attempts per game

Simons and Suggs would compliment each other very well as a backcourt duo

Fultz is just a backup at this point. Black and Suggs still have upside but I’m not arguing against bringing in someone if they fit the timeline. But I’m talking about needing to make moves to expedite the process of being competitive which could have negative impacts. I’m more in favor of internal development at the end of the day.

Lowest hanging fruit for Orlando is they have to hope that they shoot better from 3 tonight and shots fall

Magic had 12 turnovers and 9 of them belonged to Paolo...somebody else is going to have to help him out

Maybe more Cole Anthony and just don't play Fultz at all
