having your phone/wallet or anything really in your back pocket is weird as fuck to me

Never kept a wallet in a back pocket ever. Its always been in the front

I just bought a new bifold wallet
I still like to pay for some things with cash otherwise I definitely get the digital ease of access part

Yup. Lost my wallet a couple times fucking with that back pocket. I don't put essentials in those pockets anymore. Wallet and keys in one front pocket and phone in the other.
The old heads still have receipts from sears and service merchandise in they wallet that's why

Nah I always seen and taught to keep in back pocket. But when I travel I do take a different wallet with me. And in large crowds I keep it in my front pocket. And never had my wallet stolen
