I'm so glad they are exploring more with him this go around cause if you not up on the comics, the original would have you think all he did was keep a pack of bicycle cards on deck

I disagree

I'm not shitting on the original. I need to make that clear but it's very obvious that 40yr old AP can appreciate the attention to detail in the reboot vs 14 yr old AP or however old I was when this originally aired and it felt very much Saturday morning cartoon. Not to say they didn't take chances in terms of the story they wanted to tell but this iteration is just leaps and bounds better

This is also coming from someone who just watched most of the original in anticipation of this one
