This has been a wild ass week for hip hop

I'm indifferent about the apology. Maybe cause I'm not as high on either Kendrick or Cole but I think all this is kinda excessive over some lyrics.

Then you got meek in another thread who getting beat up by commas in his tweets and trying to beat his allegations

And that's fair. I ain't much for throwing stones and hiding your hand. But I'd venture to suggest that Cole ain't never had this much attention shone on him before. Ain't no such thing as bad publicity. As long as people listen to the record and they will he still gets the last word.

What if he puts a Drake feature on there? Or hell, what if he puts Kendrick on there?? Story is still being told.

I can't say the exact gravity of the situation being that I don't buy albums and probably haven't bought a j Cole album or any of these guys in forever. My first thought after watching the apology was the same as mal, that it could be career suicide and this guy doesn't know how badly this could affect his legacy in the long run.

Everything that can be said about this has been said but this was really a very opposite of hip Hop thing to do.

Shit brazy and bitch made man. Shouldn't have said shit in the first place fuck nigga.
