Is it because he very clearly has been dominating rap for the last 15 years and he's not they type pf person that people want to see on top? Is it because he's light skin and has a white mama? J. Cole is light skin and he has a white mama too. Is it because he's Canadian and not from the states? That's a real petty reason to hate on a nigga for 15 years.
Is it because he was a child actor and he didn't struggle hard enough for some people to be considered the top rapper?
Is it because he's LL Cool J on steroids when it comes to having female rap fans? Drake has locked that lane down for more than a decade and it isn't close.
Is it because the nigga makes undeniable hit records?
Is it because he's a young nigga that made it to the top in a generation that is completely online and he actually lives his raps because he's that successful?

I've asked this question about Drake for years because for years I've watched niggas hate on him for reasons untold?
All of the above. I’m not a huge fan of his but I always respected him being so popular for such a long time. I don’t like all of his work but he’s obviously doing something right if he’s been this relevant for this long
I think there's a difference between no reason and a reason you don't personally agree with. I don't think any of us are in a position to know what causes these fall outs so questioning the uninformed is wasted act imo
Personally, I don't care about the reasoning. My hip hop is still a competition so I'm cool with beefs that are built simply on the foundation of rapper A thinks they are better that rapper B. No hate involved. No ill intentions. Simply I'm a better writer/rapper/artist or however they see themselves
