TECH Apple Vision Pro......Sounds like Skynet is here!

If the specs of this headset are in line with their 2 - 3000 dollar computers and laptops, they can't go shaving hundreds off the headset price or they'd undermine the value of their other tech offerings. Add a premium to the cost for it being relatively new technology.

Hardcore apple fans, businesses and wealthier ppl will buy this, the hype will build and they'll have effectively given an aura of premium quality to their tech so that when competitors enter the fray they can offer lower cost options and still retain their mystique of top of the line Apple quality.

Still not seeing much in the way of innovation from apple.. just taking more ideas from others who have innovated before them and slapping an apple on the shit while upping the price. I guess it's been working well for them this far so fuck it
Apple hasn't innovated anything since Steve Jobs passed. That's why once this Cyberpunk future gets going Imma wait until Apple enters the fray before buying my Winter Soldier arm

There's some conflicting information. The video I watched said that it's built on a new OS not iOS, which makes much more sense since iOS isn't built to handle something like this. Also, the only apps they have available right now are standard first party apps, the kind that were absolutely available for HoloLens. And yes, you can use it the same way you can use Meta systems as a computer with configurable display setup. That didn't work for that system, and it was half the price.

Look, I ain't going to argue about this. You got your faith in Apple that you seem to want to ride or die for. All I can say is we'll see.

True, but phones, tablets, and personal computers were all established products that people already saw value in, and this costs more than any of those did when they debuted even when adjusting for inflation. It's easy to see a $600 phone when the concept of portable phones has already been embraced. People haven't really bought into AR/VR on a wide scale yet. It's still niche tech, so coming out with a system that's more than twice as much as the next most important system, which was already overpriced for the market is risky. It's Apple, so as I've said they have their drones, but I don't know that they have enough to make this venture profitable. We'll see though.

You stay adding hyperbole into our interactions.

The only thing I said was that Apple will sell out of these shits and that I’d personally wait until they were a couple iterations in before taking the dive. I haven’t bought into anything…but I’m not doubting the success that lies ahead.

Stay blessed, man.

Bruh, you said this will sell out, Apple knows what they're doing, and this will do fine the first generation. I simply said I'm not so sure.

You've bought into it. I didn't say that to knock you, but you clearly believe they're going to be successful, so where is the hyperbole?
