Post Malone and Swae Lee’s Sunflower is now the highest certified song ever

Still don't understand the hype of this song. Always thought it was weird that folks enjoyed it so much but rationalized that the younglings probably think this song is nostalgic or something

I couldn’t tell someone how this song goes to save my life. I’m sure I heard it before since apparently it’s from Into The Spider Verse.

I only heard this song in that spider verse movie

Considering how big the movie ended up being I’m not surprised
Kids really look at this song as their classic. Like they think it's a representation of their childhood on some TLC Waterfalls or Whatever pop anthem from the 90s for us.

My only thing is the song by itself is super short and is not really impressive whenever your think about it. Like the hook melody is ok but it's not nothing that sticks to your mind and their isn't stand out section on the verses especially since the auto tune is pretty heavy it's kinda hard to follow on what they are saying.

Usually these all timer hit songs all share one thing in common regardless if we like the song or not and that's a undeniable catchiness. I still can't find what makes this song catchy, and if it's the melody then it's a surprise because the melody is not memorable.

My only guess is that it's nostalgic and so associated with the film that kids just love it because it reminds them of the movie.

So more credit to the movie than the song if that's the case.

The only reason y I think I might have heard of it is because y'all keep mentioning the spider-verse.
Just saying the title alone I would have no idea wtf song is that. Matter of fact I was about to be like why tf didn't the OP have the actual song in it

This is weird considering it’s only a 5 year old song
