The solution ain't that hard and the problem ain't that complicated. Plenty of countries have extremely low numbers of gun deaths. They do it by either heavily restricting and in some cases banning guns or by having stringent requirements that people must meet to own a gun. Either of those things could be enacted pretty easily. The only reason they aren't is because gun nuts don't want them to be.
There's nothing complicated about that. About the only good argument that the pro-2a side ever comes up with is that the criminals don't get their guns legally, so more severe laws won't impact them. The problem with that is that most of the people killed by criminals with guns are criminals with guns. The average everyday law abiding citizens are usually killed by people with legal weapons.

Plenty of other countries don’t have the population of the United States and nor do they have a constitution where arming yourself is baked in nor do they have a current situation where there are more guns in circulation than there are people. Stop comparing the United States to OTHER countries unless those other countries can compare in those 3 ways. Otherwise, you just saying some boolshit that sounds cool. No other country compares to the United States.
During the Obama years when democrats had both the house and the senate, they coulda enacted all sorts of gun control legislation…did the “gun nuts” stop that from happening too?
This situation is way more complicated than y’all make it seem, which is exactly why progress is stunted. It ain’t as easy as “just get rid of the guns” as y’all make it.

Bruh, all that's irrelevant. Like 70% of the country wants stricter gun laws. Literally, the only reasons that isn't happening now is because 1) A lot of the politicians in Congress now are on the NRA payroll and 2) A lot of them are either too busy pandering to the gun nuts or too afraid of what the gun nuts might do to take a strong action.
No, creating a paradigm shift in this country when it comes to gun ownership won't be easy, but it's not impossible. The whole "it's too hard" argument is dumb though, especially when it typically comes from the very people that are making this issue hard.
