Nobody gave her a pass for the joke. It was stupid as fuck. But when you're looking at actual facts regarding this specific situation it don't line up with "they just wanted a mixed baby". It's clearly more to it than that. And no you can't just go looking for any random Black man to get sperm from. That's exactly why the lack of Black sperm donors is part of the topic. You also can't ignore time, money, viability, and the physical and emotional/mental aspects of this process too.

I can understand why folks are skeptical.

Melissa Etheridge chose a celebrity musician as a donor and so it's not like Da Brat didn't have options. They could have just declined to answer.

Da Brat is the same person who didn't tell her sister about the pregnancy. Lisa Raye was pissed.

when deciding to be in serious relationship, y’all should do research on your partner family fully.

Like I hope my kids don’t get serious with somebody that has a condition that runs in their family.

When my oldest is old enough this is one of the talks I plan on having with him.

It shows her character and precedent. this thread a lot of people felt it was over sharing. And even you were skeptical of her claim.

If she really wanted a Black donor she could have asked her sister for help or even gone to another clinic.

This thread is also hilarious because just a short while ago someone started a thread on here asking if people would be open to the idea and the vast majority if not damn near all said "No." Yet there's confusion on why there's a lack of Black sperm donors when the niggas questioning it admit they wouldn't donate themselves.
