THe second point I assume you alluding to is less guns less killings. Well of course but we way past that point. Again, they cant take the hundred of millions of known guns. Add the unknown illegal ones and its an even more insurmountable task and attempting to fix it with bans or more laws ia futile. Not to mention, remember what happened when the gov banned alcohol?

Replace liquor with guns. It will make things even worse.

Talmbout "militarized" when we had DPD cops walking the halls at Mumford in the late 80's. Metal detectors got installed the very next year after I left in '90 but IIRC there were already metal detectors at other schools in Detroit. They act like this shit is new when we've had it in "inner city" schools for decades, but the suggestion that white kids gotta live like we did and its that plantation mindset like you said earlier. Black kids deal with cops/resource officers and metal detectors across the country. Shit, I'll give Las Vegas and Clark County that much credit: Clark County School District has it's own whole ass police force! Some shit popped off and that nigga along with 4 or 5 other dudes ran up into an apartment down from mine and everybody came out with Dracos. Not na'an one of them niggas was supposed to have a gun, but there they were with them.

The elementary school in Newport News had metal detectors, so they're already out there. If it's good for Black kids in the hood it's good for whitey where they live.

It's not a "horrible condition" to have metal detectors in schools and an armed guard or resource officer checking bags. It's done to keep them safe 'cause it doesn't just stop guns from getting into the schools, it keeps knives from getting in there as well which, apparently, is quite an under reported issue.

Since you're being willfully dense: Metal detectors stop more than just guns from getting into schools, it als stops knives, which have wounded, maimed, or killed children in schools for as long as I can remember. It ain't about it being "just as bad", it's about protecting kids from that threat.
