Breaking News School Shooting in Nashville

I didn't "espouse my love for all things guns" anywhere in this thread. I was asked a direct question and I answered it. At no point have I said "I love guns" or have even alluded to it. They're tools to be used and that's it.

Show me where I did any of what you just said. Quote it or shove your fingers in a running wood chipper.

Yeah you did and you continue to do it with your inability to see that cuz you're in constant defense mode. the question was asked and you could've easily said "Probably not the best thread to list my gun collection". That's how you did it. Now show me where I said "all guns should be banned" like you accused me of saying or maybe take your own advice about that wood chipper.

Bruh your guns are not tools. They are toys. Going out into the wilderness is a choice and something you do for fun. So even there your guns are in service of your fun. A gun and some ammo for home protection is in service of a need. Everything above that is in service of fun.

Your argument against limits suggests you’d rather be able to get as many toys as possible at the expense of lives. That’s the harsh truth you choose to ignore.

It is objectively false, though. If this woman did not have access to firearms, it is unlikely she would have been able to cause the damage she did. Firearms make it infinity easier to cause mass casualty events over say a blade. It is true that when a person wants to do bad, they will try to do bad. It is also true that limiting their access to deadlier weapons would limit that ability. In the 10 years before the Port Arthur massacre in Australia there were 12 mass killings with guns, after which they instituted major gun control. In the 27 years since, there's been 3.

In short, the idea that less firearms wouldn't mean less shootings doesn't make sense. I say this as a gunowner. The truth is that the only thing gun enthusiasts have to fall back on is the second amendment. If you want to keep your guys because you like having guns, just say that. Saying that gun control doesn't limit gun deaths is counterfactual. It is factual that our free-ish access to firearms make crazy people more lethal.
You can google on how to create bombs. Break those glass doors with whatever object you have and then just simply walk the hallways throwing bombs into classrooms

You still haven't quoted anything about my supposed "love of guns". Just a bunch of bullshit typed with your thumbs.

Glad you can humble yourself enough to admit that.

Now... What are your solutions to this issue?

Humility actually would be a solution because alot of the current violence we see is ego driven. Humility would also allow you to admit your own wrong in this when you throw out false accusations about things people say. You should try it. Maybe then you wouldn't need to respond to threads about shootings with posts about your guns and how much they mean to you and can see why multiple people have told you it's tone deaf.
