Is it because We (Black people) think it's "cool" to be a criminal, on probation, parole and have warrants for your arrest?


Do "we" think it's cool to have altercations with the police?

Is it "cool" to get along with police officers?
 
Same reason godfather is considered one if the greatest movies of all time.

Same reason we know who Billy the kid, Al Capone, and Lucky Luciano are

Same reason there are a million new crime series on TV every season.




Americans are fascinated with criminal culture.. It's not just a black thing it's a people thing.

Me personally, I think we would've been better off w/o a lot of this deviant behavior, calling our women b's and h's, gangsta rap, etc... I be looking at the blacks here below the border and even though they live in what we call the ghetto/gutter. They ain't like the gutter at all. Me and my coworkers were talking about we'd been better off not glorifying deviant shyt in music.
 
They do like to see positive stuff from black people. Even in other cultures the degeneracy is balanced out with upliftment. For us they only push the negativity.

Ijs if you’re a Black person who grew up middle class not a lot of struggle or doing drugs. The Carl Winslow shit is real life and it’s boring as hell. Whereas The Wire ain’t my life thats entertainment it’s let’s me see the fantasy like rap
 
And let’s not act like all our entertainment is super negative a lot of folks don’t not watch Zeus and Tubi and don’t watch shit like Power.


Then let’s be real shit has to be good. I don’t think Black people are so quick to consume positivity from the outside either
