Who would have thought that Nas, Kanye, Jay/B, Kanye/Cudi all drop in a month and Pusha drops a album thats better than all of em? Respect that man

So I was listening to pusha's album about 3x str8 yesterday. Had a out of work training I had to attend for work. Came to the conclusion that the album does not have a wack bar. Even the bars that are not Great are setting up a good punchline or bar. Also, the second verse on "come back baby" has to be up there for verse of the Year so far. That whole "I can still climb the ladder when complexion fade/ white on white testa/ black on black tesla" sequence is next level MCing.

I got Daytona as Album of year and can honestly say. I don't think anyone will top it. My hopes were on Nas and that did not top pusha. Pusha and Kanye got chemistry. Which is something the nas album lacked. There seemed to be a disconnect between the artist's lyrics and the production IMO

The RIAA categorizes Daytona and Nasir as EPs. An EP is a record with less than 9 songs and has a total play length of less than 30 minutes.

Daytona is only 21 minutes and Nasir is 26 minutes. Just a cool FYI.

What?! That's bullshit...

You made an example of studio albums released in the 70s that had short number of tracks... So they EPs too?

My understanding of EPs was leftovers from released albums... For example regarding NaS... The Lost Tapes is an EP cos it was leftovers from his I Am/NaStradamus and Stillmatic sessions

Edit: EP also stands for 'Extended Play'
