2026 NBA Offseason Thread

34/12/6 in Game 7:

Joel ain’t the problem.

I said that two months ago.
You're absolutely right. Joel ain't the problem...that contract is.

And for full transparency, I wasn't even against them giving him that contract because I saw it as like a loyalty/lifetime achievement type thing for a guy that always fought for us. The problem is Darryl Morey effed up the thing signing PG and now we gotta finesse our way out of this

LeBron should take the minimum in New York.

It'll work in both parties' favor if they win it all because the media will have to give on something.

1.) Either they give LeBron full props and credit for getting another chip in his send off season, despite the Knicks potentially winning back to back.
2.) They have to acknowledge they've been full of shit this entire postseason run and aftermath regarding the greatness of the NYK core in comparison to OKC & SA.

Because you can't both downplay Bron for going to another contender and keep talking about the Knicks ONLY won because of a slate of lucky matchups.

I haven't even really been able to formulate my thoughts on the Jaylen Brown trade simply because its one of the most bizarre situations Ive seen unfold from beginning to end

Im still shocked tbh but like @AZTG said its more thats going to come out behind this

They already trying to paint it as “we didn’t like that smart nigger so we shipped him out.” It’s so nasty but I don’t expect anything less from a Boston franchise.

I think the owner said we're not paying two players $300 million and told Brad Stevens to pick one.

They picked Tatum and the rest of this bullshit we are hearing is just damage control from the Celtics. Fuck them for that.

Its one thing when you decided to try to trade Brown for Giannis. That was justified.

But then going out of the way to trade Brown for just about anything like he was a player you just had to trade? Makes no sense.
