Sad shit is most of those fans don’t give zero fucks about the Knicks forreal. They weren’t in the trenches with the Knicks. Like the diehards

Knicks done had some brutal losses and it wasn’t shit violent or crazy. Unfortunately success brings out folks that just wanna do shit for the sake of doing shit. Fake tough & fake passionate

I feel like ever since Knicks recent playoff history that kinda coincided with SideTalkNYC & Spider-Cuz & all that, folks have been chasing THAT feelin & escalating the antics the further we’ve gone along over the years.

Can’t even be like “act like yall been here before” lol

That's definitely what it is. This became the cool way to behave and now mfers want to show out. Mob mentality and honestly its a good study on how to control people to act in a pact. That's way outside this thread though.

And it doesn't help the whole nation thinks it's cute. "Knicks fans gonna wild out, haha", "Knicks fans are so crazy, haha"

Smh.

I been through too much with this team. I need mines. Soon as I get this or any mfing ring, I might give the Knicks up

I want to be upset and at one point throughout last night I was but then anytime he didn't have the ball and force up a shot, the teams offense couldn't even get shots up.

Mikail tried something and lost the ball.
KAT couldn't take a single step inside the perimeter.
OG did his thing but it was mostly hitting open shots. He also couldn't do much once the Spurs defense locked in.

So yes it's hard not to blame Brunson but also hard to blame him.

Bomani said on his podcast last week that if the Knicks are going to win, KAT has to be the best player. I think there's something to that. It's not that Brunson can't be great, but things are always going to look good for the Knicks if KAT is outplaying Wemby.

Oh I wouldn’t even blame him

Castle, Harper, and others have made it extremely difficult for him and he’s in a lineup where there is no secondary ballhandler

It’s actually great that the Knicks are up 2-1 despite Brunson not playing great

That’s why I said win or lose it might turn into straight pandamonium in the city.

The only difference btw last year & this year is the Knicks are in the finals. Same watch parties happening all over the city last year & it was nothin like what we’re seeing right now

It won't happen but it wouldn't be a terrible idea. He gave San Antonio fits during the season because his ball handling and vision completely negate the ball pressure the Spurs apply. He's also really good at penetrating to draw Wemby away from the paint. The issue is he's a fucking traffic cone on defense. He is what everybody thinks Jalen's defense is but to the 10th magnitude.
