He stuttering when he sees his mother. He stuttering when he asked Louis did he hurt himself in episode 8 of season 2

This is a CRAZY detail to include. They really have this shit all planned out .. like they are so sharp with very small continuity details.
He points out how Louis never mentioned his scars.

They changed the rules on vampire sex from the books.... But, is almost like veggie because Louis doesn't like sex as much as Lestat... He says mad sexually driven things in the first two seasons.. but because Louis is the narrator, is toned down.. Lestat going all in... No pun intended.
My guess was the auction happened after the events of Akasha

Curious why they decided to do it this way. I guess it's going to be a lot of flashbacks

Also alluding to events that are supposed to be waaaaaayyyy ahead into the future is odd. Makes me think they're going to skip a lot
I think their okay going forward because it offers a more detailed description of every character and the aftermath.

Like in the book interview, there's no mention of Marius, Magnus, Akasha... The book was written in 1976... She simple hadn't created them yet... The doctor fareed doesn't show up until I think book 10... He was there is season 1 and now in TVL ...

They do not care about using elements from every book wherever they see that it could fit. So I'm not mad at all at then jumping ahead.

I always said the books did a poor job of how the world would react as a whole. This show is covering that from the very first scene at the auction. It's very clear they swept everything under the rug and trying to sell shit off in a private auction. I love that. It's as realistic as it can get. There absolutely would be people who know it was all real, and they would likely be the very rich and elite.

I think this is going to be a very good season

Curious to see how the Talamasca are going to play into this season especially with Akasha coming.

Sam saying they inserted him into Theatre des Vampires was interesting. My memory is terrible but that was something that just came to light this episode right?

No.... Watch episode 8 of season 2 again.

1. Daniel points out that Sam was at multiple places at once during the trial. He was some how holding Armand hostage and taking Claudia back stage at the same time. And he was feeding lines during the play.

2. They tell Daniel and then Daniel tells Louis that Sam was their guy in the Talamasca. He was essentially a spy for the coven. He gave the Talamasca the script of the play with Armand notes in it. The one the Talamasca gave to Daniel during the interview

3. Sam was tipped off to leave the theater before Louis came there. Probably as he stole Armand s copy of the script.

Louis did later mention that Sam was a DJ wearing a mask currently.. It make sense that he stays close
. He prolly still works for them. I think Daniel is going to replace David in the books. But we don't know... We only got Raglan
