I just don’t like the fact the entire plot is centered on her saving her dog. Those aren’t very high stakes. I could see if it was to save a planet or people. I guess if I were a die-hard dog lover I’d feel differently.

Like I was saying before, they need to show the good shit you talking about because the trailers so far doesn’t have high enough stakes to really care.

We know it’s going to look good and have action, but all superhero movies have that now. What is her story, what makes her interesting outside of just being anti, what is she fighting for other than the dog?

I believe you when you say it will be good, but I can see why people aren’t rushing out to watch.

I'll be honest. I think Gunn just got lucky with GotG for me. I don't think I really like his vision for Superhero movies.

I wouldn’t say got lucky, more so his style and tone was perfect for those movies. But that style and tone doesn’t work for every franchise.

He’s basically putting a GOTG skin on everything he does and it’s getting stale.
