People absolutely boiling the loss down to racism and sexism. On top of that, there were and still are people that equated any criticism of her to support or help for Trump. We not gonna do this revisionist history BS. There has been pushback on that narrative, but it's still pretty pervasive.
And yes, people focused on her doing wrong BECAUSE THEY WANTED HER TO DO BETTER. Why is that so hard to understand? People were screaming at her to take a stronger stance against the genocide and she refused. As a result she lost a huge chunk of the Muslim vote. Were those people stupid for that? Of course they were, but condemning a genocide and committing to standing against it as president should have been the easier thing in the world for her to do, and she couldn't do it. I'm sorry.
