Doing all of that for the “promise” of a candidate entertaining reparations; We’re not talking guarantees now, but promises. Politicians lie all the time which the same “no vote no reparations” group admits and acknowledged but yet still they are No Vote No Reparations. So the candidate didn’t support reparations ok cool, now the opposition was elected and decided to solidify their power and make it harder for you to vote for anybody good or bad….To add insult to injury your giving them the blueprint to flat out lie to get your votes since you yourself have no clue how reparations will work as you left it up to the “Dems” to come up with a game plan hence you would be asking for An Agenda for the Black Community.

To add further insult to injury, No Vote No reparations failed to realize that the precedent has been set for them to sue the US govt and subsequently the states for the damages caused from the war on drugs to be specific as it currently stands White folks are receiving reparations for the Opioid crisis to be administered by the States. The slow process of legalization in the shadows of the war on drugs, has brought up conversations on equity for Black folks in this new industry that they helped built and suffered for. Dems and Republicans have been in gridlock on moving forward with legalization due to the addressing the financial and social equity of African Americans in the industry. So the sin tax generated from the industry is being used however the state laws dictate and it ain’t to help our community.

This was brought up in the election thread and the black agenda thread shot down by them same folk only to be adopted by some Black PAC where they advocated Weed be legalized and the taxes used to pay reparations. There not pushing this to anyone in power, they’re not pushing this to Matt Gaetz, Chuck Shumer, Corey Booker, fucking he’ll Trump support weed legalization against Ron D in the state of FL so you have an audience but y’all niggaz would rather stand on your internet soapbox repeating tired ass tropes.

Democrats and Republicans and Independents have all delivered wins for the Special Interest Groups that fund their campaigns may not always align with their voters. Y’all are being naive as to how things work across all political spectrums across the world. Go run for office locally push some of these policies and keep us posted as to how it works out.

The basis for the SCOTUS ruling is that race should not be used in determining districts, I.e. racial gerrymandering.

However, racial gerrymandering will still happen, but now to the benefit of white politicians. Which was the whole point of the voting rights act in the first place. At the time, districts were setup to disenfranchise black voters and that will return.

So essentially everything that MLK fought for and people celebrate is being undone and we’ll have to start all over again. All because people were unhappy with democrats not being perfect candidates.
