How much you spending on a first date thats fair in 2026?

I can't imagine being single again....

And if I was, I ain't going no where fancy on any dates.....I ain't even tryna front the vibe.... If we going somewhere to eat.... We going solely based on the food alone...

Like say she like wings, or tacos, or even seafood... You go to a specialty spot that's renowned for that.

You getting S tier food, but you ain't dropping inflated prices...

Shit, in bmore they got this little seafood spot that's pick up only... But it's like I'm the hood, but it's viral all over social media.... shit good as fuck, but risky to go to


That's an adventure ass first date..... Get our food, maybe go by the water somewhere... Pick up some drinks.... Do like a chill little picnic hang out ..

This whole date still under a 100... Maybe a little over.. But I'm funny....I always impress women by making them laugh, not by spending a whole lotta money..I feel like that shit would still cook if I was single.

At this age? Shit, maybe $50-$60. Lotta chicks around my age are cool with simple shit. Lil local spot, maybe Barcade or something like that to have some fun, find a spot where they're spinning 80's and 90's hip hop or house... That's about it.

Me and you are totally in agreement here.

If wound up single for reason, if a chick wasn't down for a coffee date the first time out, I wouldn't even bother, and I don't even drink coffee. Simple cheap dates in places where you really get to talk and get to know each other are the most logical thing. Any chick that doesn't get that is probably just trying to get a free meal.

Funny thing about those coffee dates.............is it's actually something that women came up with years ago.


Mainly because, back then, it made them feel more comfortable and didn't put them in a position where they'd have to deal with dudes who felt like they owed them something for taking them out to dinner.

It's the best thing. I'm old fashioned. I believe in dudes carrying the weight. My wife will tell you, when a chick gets with me she doesn't have to pay for anything ever. It's not a lot to ask that you chill on the first date so we can find out if we really vibe. Coffee dates are perfect for first dates and anyone who doesn't agree is a dumbass.
 
I like to have fun when im dating. I dont date scared I kind of stopped doing just a meal on the first date. Coffee dates are boring to me since I dont drink coffee. I like to eat, so im just gonna do a restaurant that is new to both of us.

I prefer to do activity dates and a meal. I never went past $150. 99% of the time, i stay under $100. We can talk with each other while being a little competitive with each other. Im also funnier when im in competition mode. I tailor dates to their interest.

I have done several mini golf and a meal dates. The meals be like $20-30 . I dont do expensive places. I do local spots that we have not tried and offer a variety of places to try and let them pick from that list. This has led to getting more dates. As i have been told multiple times, it is because of the effort i have put in on the planning, which i thought was normal but was told it is not. This is how I have my current girlfriend. Mini golf then Ramen. $70 date.

Other 1st dates I have done:
Museum and food
Salsa class and food
Hike and picnic
