Your statement was that he didn't have anything out. That's flat out false. Your statement i bolded isn't actually based in reality. But to answer the switch up...the Wu Tang singles you keep pretending didn't exist. Ice Cream was also the biggest single off the album and was popular as hell. Top 40 on Billboard, top 5 on the rap charts. That doesn't happen unless the song is popular nationwide
Wu-Tang Ok
I already told you that the most famous outta the Wu-Tang was ODB and Method Man in 1995 for southerners and west coast cats
In 1994, in the South or West Coast, black kids from 8 years old to 13 years old, couldn't name you a song by them let alone ALL of the members of the group, outside of C.R.E.A.M (I'll give you that) and even that would be a struggle, they wouldn't be able to pick out no dayum Raekon and be on some, man I wanna go and cop his debut album on July 28th, 1995
No brotha.
No street niggas in the South and on the West Coast in 1994 or 1995 is checking for a Raekon, because for one, Wu didn't sell in the South or on the West Coast, street niggas wasn't on that miracle whip rap...
So in other words, buddy was a part of a group, and really didn't stand out to in that sense, with that being said, you want paint the picture that street cats living in the South and on the West Coast copped his debut album on cassette tape on July 28th 1995 when they have their own (sound) and artists that they listen drop albums that same year 1995?
Ice Cream wasn't out in 1994, I asked you what did Raekown have out before his debut album that made niggas in the South and on the West coast cop his album, you said Wu-tang, then you tried to slip in Ice Cream as for saving grace.
Bad thing about that is, Ice Cream came out as a single on September 28th 1995, and that wasn't on radio stations in the South or West coast radio station.
It may have got spins more so on the East Coast because that's East Coast sped, the mps is on their speed. We don't rock to that shit down here nor does West Coast cats
