@ Non East Coast Posters, Do You Have TM101 Ranked Over..

Your statement was that he didn't have anything out. That's flat out false. Your statement i bolded isn't actually based in reality. But to answer the switch up...the Wu Tang singles you keep pretending didn't exist. Ice Cream was also the biggest single off the album and was popular as hell. Top 40 on Billboard, top 5 on the rap charts. That doesn't happen unless the song is popular nationwide

Wu-Tang Ok

I already told you that the most famous outta the Wu-Tang was ODB and Method Man in 1995 for southerners and west coast cats

In 1994, in the South or West Coast, black kids from 8 years old to 13 years old, couldn't name you a song by them let alone ALL of the members of the group, outside of C.R.E.A.M (I'll give you that) and even that would be a struggle, they wouldn't be able to pick out no dayum Raekon and be on some, man I wanna go and cop his debut album on July 28th, 1995
No brotha.

No street niggas in the South and on the West Coast in 1994 or 1995 is checking for a Raekon, because for one, Wu didn't sell in the South or on the West Coast, street niggas wasn't on that miracle whip rap...

So in other words, buddy was a part of a group, and really didn't stand out to in that sense, with that being said, you want paint the picture that street cats living in the South and on the West Coast copped his debut album on cassette tape on July 28th 1995 when they have their own (sound) and artists that they listen drop albums that same year 1995?

Ice Cream wasn't out in 1994, I asked you what did Raekown have out before his debut album that made niggas in the South and on the West coast cop his album, you said Wu-tang, then you tried to slip in Ice Cream as for saving grace.

Bad thing about that is, Ice Cream came out as a single on September 28th 1995, and that wasn't on radio stations in the South or West coast radio station.

It may have got spins more so on the East Coast because that's East Coast sped, the mps is on their speed. We don't rock to that shit down here nor does West Coast cats

I wasn't.

No trolling

Brotha, I wasn't 18, most folks weren't of age lol you don't have to be over 18 to be in the space. Nobody said you have to be over 18 to see titties at Mardi Gras.

Brotha you don't have to be 18 to be in a student union... you don't even have to attend the college in some cases.

It's different down here and other places. Back then it was different, let me say it that way

I had my whole cousin a whole 9th grader in the club with me throwing up hooks with the Q's bout to get beat down...

But brotha, no trolling, I lived life for 2 or 3 niggas on this mfer board brotha lol

Being 16 years old aint never stopped anybody from riding to Freak Nic

Oh you thought you had to be over 18 to be at Kappa Beach or the Bayou Classic or on Crenshaw or at the Florida Classic, or on Virgina Beach? etc?

You just said you weren't even 15.

That's like me trying to tell my folks or my older brother, uncles that was in their 20's, or aunt who was in her 20's what was or wasn't really poppin' in '85 when I was 12/13.

Nah b... Nah.

Ok, 15, my bad brotha. Not sure what's the anger for

But dispute what I said though lol

You didn't say shit. You immediately tried to make it personal. There's nothing else to say. I lived during that time. I've lived in every state along the southeast coast. The Purple Tape was well known in the South and Ice Cream was a single popular single that summer. Maybe you didn't know or the people in your little corner didn't, but didn't speak for the South as a whole because what you're saying wasn't true for the rest of us.

I asked, 2nd time, what did Rae have out music wise that made kids 8-12 and teenagers 13-19 living in the South and on the West Coast in 1995 want to go and cop his debut album on July 28th 1995

You asked about 1995. Your own words. You making up so much you can't even remember your own fairy tales

Brotha,
A radio with a cassette deck in 1995 in a black house, what 8-17 year old is listening to a Raekon album on the West Coast or Down South? Why would a 8-17 year old listen to that album from either coast? Girl or Boy?
You listen to music that you already are familiar with. This is how it was back in 1995 brotha. How would someone from the south listen to Method Man??? From a banging ass radio single that reached his radio station or a jamming as video that they've seen. Method Man had one. Raekown did not have one that won over the ears of folks in the south and west coast.

Now you're telling me that street niggas in the SOUTH and WEST coast was bumping this album when you were in neither region?

Bruh what part of the west are you talking about was them nuggas listening to south music anyway?

Juvenile did an interview and many more artist have stated that Jay-Z wasn't played in the south

Many other folks stated that was on the West Coast, when Jay-z came out in 1996, he wasn't played in the West region, but you want to sit up here and say that Raekon who didn't have nothing out was played in the South and on the West Coast by street niggas?

So tell us, why didn't street niggas play Jay-Z when he came out since you said the street niggas in the South and West gravitated to Rae's album cuz he talked about it in his album??

Jay-z has street shit all over Reasonable Doubt which came out in 1996, but yet street niggas in the South and West wasn't fuckin wit it.

So the street niggas in the South and West Coast fucked with Rae's album but skipped over Jay-Z Reasonable Doubt Album?

So Wu tang one if the world wide most popular groups in the 90s was never played anywhere but where it snows?

You asked about 1995. Your own words. You making up so much you can't even remember your own fairy tales

In 1995, his album came out on July 28th. 1995.

In those times, an artist would put out a single or 2 before the album drops.

I asked you what in 1995 he had out that made street niggas living in the South and on the West Coast cop the cassette tape?

You answered with the Wu...then stated a single that did not play on the radio in the South or on the West Coast...that came out after the album had dropped.

Broth nobody was buying no Raekon album at 15 living in the south lol..

Chill out.

As the youngest of 4 from AZ please stop saying the West coast didnt fuck with raekwon...my 2nd brotha had all the east coast shit on cassette. the actual purple tape, fuck master 60 mins of funk, biggie, WU, LL all of it.....just please stop...STOP

Nah man. See you wasn't in the right spaces. Your memories are false. You must've got the Men In Black treatment. Nobody listened to them in the west
