HBO A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

Added to Calendar: 01-18-26

Just caught up. Was behind 2.5 episodes. Good shit. Too bad for baelor but thats on par for game of thrones. Somebody you like had to get clapped.

FACTS!!!!!

Dude told Dunc, my shit might not be fancy, but it’s the strongest shit here. Dude never lied. His armor saved Duncan big time.

Dude was no match trying to actually classically sword fight or joust, but when it got down to brawling he took care of business

Meh. Duncan built like that, the armor didnt do much. Just them showing him getting stabbed in the leg and following Arlen for days/weeks no food or decent water until he dropped out showed you his will to live, be great and that he could see the good in the worst.

They literally showed you was going to get up no matter what. Cause thats who he is. Wasn't about that fuck ass armor he kept getting stabbed up in lol.

They put it right in your face.

I agree It was more how he was built as a person.

They did talk about how his wounds weren’t major (if I remember correctly) though because of the armor (or was he just lucky?, I can’t remember) before Baelor came in there to talk to them though.

Perfect example was him getting stabbed with the jousting lance

I'm just catching up to this series I thought it was going to be a dud so I didnt start it until recently. I'm late but this shit is pretty good. More entertaining than expected and Dunk need to man up.

I'm on ep5 currently

I thought that it was obvious that the finale would not have the same stakes as the last 2 episodes but I thought the actor playing Dunk did well displaying the survivor's guilt that Dunk experienced in the aftermath.

He also sees that "All Targaryens are bad" is a blanket statement cause of his experiences with Egg and Baelor

Very solid season overall. This show did wonders for the franchise

Egg been mad from the jump.

I hope this shit somehow transitions to us getting to see him as The Mad King. More of a back story would be dope too. Something tells me Maekar knows Egg has some bad Juju to him.
