2025-26 NBA Season Thread: Back to Agenda Watching!

It’s better to keep him than to give him up for a bag of chips (Rozier).

The value is in the expiring contract....it doesnt matter if he's playing or not its about the the salary that comes off the books

Grizzlies are getting salary relief........thats the value for them

Again if they feel like they can rehab his value and try in the summer thats fine, more power to them.....but thats what they have to do because there is no market for Ja Morant due to his negative value around the league

I always have been, but he most def is a negative and has been for at least a couple of seasons now. I'm still rooting for him tho.
I love rooting for the underdog. They acting like role players who a year ago their fanbase wanted to run out of town and a big man their coach hates is too rich for a guy who led his team to the playoffs and was an all star for a time. I understand that his value is low but if I’m the Grizz, I think he warrants a little more than just a salary dump trade.

Rehabbing his value in the attempt for a better deal makes sense than just trading for Rozier.

So you’re blatantly ignoring Ja Morant’s play this season, him having issues with his coach repeatedly, not being healthy for YEARS, and is now making too much money for his lack of production because he went to 2 all star games in the past and had a good playoff run before

Again Trae Young being traded also hurt his trade value because Trae and Ja are in the same boat outside of the off the court stuff

you’re being willfully ignorant because you like Ja being the underdog? Lol

He does, but he's to the point where he has to build trust again, and 1-he doesn't even fuck with the coach, 2-the injuries, 3- He's eligible for an extension after the season. As an organization, you can't seriously consider giving him that, and once he knows it ain't coming, then you will have all the drama that comes with it.

Cut bait and pivot in another direction. It's business.

Nah let him rehab his image while they pay him $40+ mil instead of not having that money on the books anymore and have him take mins away from the younger guards on the team

Especially after you moved JJJ

It makes perfect sense
