Trading Donovan Mitchell and recalibrating around Garland/Mobley and possibly Allen isnt the worse thing in the world for the Cavs

Everyone is young enough and locked up under contract to where you can build a different team and try something new while getting a very good return for Mitchell

Kinda surprised he hasn't asked out or we haven't heard any rumors of him being frustrated by now. I have a feeling its coming down the pipeline tho.

This is depressing if you’re a Bucks fan.

It kind of flew under the radar but when he reupped with them he only did 3 years and not the full 5

He's under contract this season and next.....then he has a player option so time is definitely ticking and it might serve Cleveland well to trade him now if they dont think he'll come back after next season

If Cleveland goes out in the 1st or 2nd round you would be ok bringing back your core 4 players and essentially running it back again?
I would field offers for Garland and Allen. I probably wouldn’t move both at the same time u less there is a superstar available.

About a week ago I did post that I would move them both for Giannis

Donavon hasn’t asked out because he’s come up short himself in the playoffs so he can’t side eye anybody without being a complete hypocrite. And he knows there probably a more complete starting 5/roster he could join.

Now on the other hand if I’m the GM I’m looking to move Spida after the next two seasons just because his game is very dependent on athleticism and he approaching his 30’s

I understand the thought process but I understand what you expect to get back that moves the needle and changes the dynamics of your team enough to make it worth it

Granted things might change in the summer but if you just put Garland on the open market right now Im not sure what that really gets you that makes sense....Im sure you could find a team willing to give up some draft compensation but actual players? Idk...he's been injured with this toe, hes a small guard which the league is moving away from and makes a lot of money the follow 2 years after this season

Im a big Garland fan too

Again somewhat agree…On top of that I feel like Trae Young trade fucked up Garlands market a little. He’s more efficient but defensively there in the same group lol

I’m going to play GM, if it’s me I trade Garland for a wing, I don’t think we need another point guard. Especially if Schroeder can run the 2nd unit while Spida rests. I’d hit up Minnesota for Jayden McDaniel in a perfect world lol
