Official Physical Medium Thread (Vinyl, cassettes, CDs)

Collecting CDs is so dope, defo my favourite medium for collecting music...

Good thing is there are tons of great used CDs you can get on Amazon and Discogs for cheap... bad thing is some CDs are now worth a fortune too lol

Check this site out @Goldie they reissue classics and also drop fresh heat too, plus you can pre order so you dont have to fight against bots...

I think I might make an IG just to post my hiphop collection and sneakers. I see people get huge followings for it, I might as well :js4:

Also fellas

I'm not trying to keep the CD cases but there are CD books now that do not scratch the discs as you put them in/take them out

I'm gonna post a link later. I haven't bought one yet cause I'm still getting my collection back up but when I get some more, eventually they will move from the cases to the CD book

Fire, I got the same joints but on cassette...

My Glaciers Of Ice is a promo single cassette though, so has pretty plain O Card sleeve rather than the the artwork...

This thread is making me wanna dig through some of my cassettes and records...

🔥🔥🔥

Im bout to do the same 😂

I've got crates of CDs in a closet somewhere., but I can't even remember the last physical album that I copped. It's been all I-Tunes and streaming for years 😢 .

We should do a game... everyone with a Discogs or iTunes account etc go to their collection and hit 'random item' and see what it pulls up and then post it... Even if its embarrassing...

:aye:

I'd say its probably Vinnie Paz... Especially if were including his JMT/AOTP work as hes been dropping constantly for over 25yrs and I've got every project and mixtape...

Though I got tons of GxFR too... Conway and West have really deep discographies and I originally sought out every release but Im not really feeling their new stuff, so Im more selective with what I cop them from now...

For the longest it was Tupac though...

edit: thinking of it, Nas and Jay must be up there too...

You got a goldmine with the Westside gunn discog, all of his albums are $125 and up on vinyl. And anything older than 3 years starts at around $250 to the thousands.
