Streets is Dead: Barbershop Edition

Still would if I could but the hair gods had other plans. Those were the days.

If I did 4 hair cuts, in 4 hours, at 40 dollars. I essentially made what someone who makes 20 dollars an hour, can make in a full work day. If I do 8 hair cuts in 4 hours, at 40 dollars a cut. I made what someone who makes 40 dollars an hour can make in a full work day.

If I live in a city that doesn’t take much travel time and people are condensed to a specific area or they come to me on a schedule. 40 dollars a cut, 8 heads, for 5 days a week.

It just don’t make sense to limit yourself to one spot and pay the person who owns the spot rent. When in theory, that rent money is gas money. All the money stays with you, and you have the ability to work the taxes in a way where you come out even or get something back. Especially if you only do 4 days and keep a BS part time joint. That you do 5 hours on the 5th day.

Purely for tax purposes. The state of the economy, the make up of niggaz pockets, and the ease of access for communication nowadays. It just don’t make sense for barbershops to exist anymore.
